Mo Yan
Mo Yan är en av de främsta samtida kinesiska författarna. Den 11 oktober 2012 tillkännagav Svenska Akademien att han tilldelas Nobelpriset i litteratur 2012.
Mo Yan debuterade 1981 med en novell som publicerades i en tidskrift. Men det stora genombrottet kom 1986 då hans första roman ”Touming de hong luobo” kom ut. Han är ofta samhällskritisk och tar avstamp i det egna landets historia.
